Obedience Class Descriptions

BACK

Basic Obedience

A six week course designed to build a better relationship between you and your dog.  This class is for dogs 3 months of age or older.  Controlled walking, sit and down stay, a stand stay and coming when called are included in this program.  All lessons are on-leash and should be used in day-to-day situations.  At the end of six weeks students have the option to take the AKC "Star" Puppy test for dogs one year or less or the AKC Canine Good Citizen test for an additional fee.

Advanced Obedience

A six week course designed to further the bond between you and your dog.  Dogs will begin off-leash work and have fun learning rally obedience.  Students will work on skills to compete in the AKC Beginning Novice class.

Pre-requisite: Basic Obedience

Competition Rally

This six week course compliments Advanced Obedience.  This class is primarily for people who are interested in earning Rally Obedience Titles at dog shows.
