Past Events

Gail & Tempo along with Beth Pettit and Daisy, her pomeranian (see photo), went to jail for MDA in 2011!

Beth and Daisy are a part of Tall Pines and work with students in several programs.

Gail, Chuck, and Tempo recently leant a hand to help raise money for MDA in 2010!

They all went to "jail" at the Red Maple Inn in Burton, OH.  Thankfully, they had many wonderful, supportive friends, clients and family who helped to raise their "bail money".  Tempo, who already works in an animal assisted therapy program with special needs students, was a hit and wants to go back and raise more money for Jerry's kids.  Thanks to all who contributed!

Tall Pines and Friends of Tall Pines participated in the Horse and Hound Relay Race at Lake Farmpark during Horsefest 2010.  They were featured on Kickin' It With Kenny on May 20th.

The STARS classes from Jordak Elementary School visited Tall Pines Dog Training on a field trip recently. The students enjoyed watching obedience demonstrations by Gail and Rocky, Pet Tricks by Sue and Jayzee, Agility Warmups by Rhonda and Sadie, and Field Work Demonstrations by Kathy and Falcon.  The students watched agility demos by all, including Tempo who works with the STARS students twice a month at the school.  Some of the students and staff tried their hand at agility with a little help.  It was a great afternoon. Everyone had a good time and learned a lot!

Tall Pines believes in helping out the community by donating items to the Middlefield Police K9 Unit.  Pictured are K9 Rocky with handler Nick DiVita,  and Gail, admiring Rocky's new bullet-proof, stab-proof vest.  Tall Pines donated Rocky's vest along with a special cool-down vest that goes under the bullet-proof vest and Rocky's bite sleeve.  Tall Pines is glad to be a proud supporter of Middlefield's K9 Unit.
